Terms and Conditions

Live Love Lake is a family-owned, owner-operated luxury pontoon charter business operating on Lake Cowichan, BC. We offer private boat charters for groups, complete with optional add-ons.  By booking a charter, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

• All bookings must be made in advance via our website or directly through our approved booking platform.
• A full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time.
• Accepted payment methods include credit card, e-transfer, or other options listed on our booking page.

• Cancellations made more than 1 week in advance will receive a full refund (minus a non-refundable $25.00 admin fee).
• Cancellations made within 1 week of the charter may result in a 50% hold should we not be able to rebook.
• Charters canceled due to unsafe weather or lake conditions (as determined by Live Love Lake) will be rescheduled or refunded in full.

• Guests must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time.
• Charters will begin and end as scheduled. Late arrivals may result in reduced time on the water and will not be refunded or extended.

• The captain has full authority on the vessel and may terminate the charter without refund in the event of unsafe or disrespectful behavior.
• All guests must follow Transport Canada safety rules while aboard.
• Children under 12 must wear lifejackets at all times.
• Following the Town of Lake Cowichan's movement to protect our beautiful lake and river by using environmental safe suncreen - we highly recommend the use of non-nano sunscreen products. For more info: https://www.bccf.com/aqua-safe-sunscreen/

• Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused to the vessel, equipment, or add-ons during their charter. A $300.00 damage deposit via hold on your credit card will be processed in advance - and released following the charter.
• Live Love Lake is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
• All guests participate at their own risk and must sign a waiver prior to boarding.

• Add-on packages must be selected at least 48 hours before your charter.
• Some add-ons are subject to availability or weather-dependent and may be substituted or refunded if unavailable.

• We may capture photos or videos during charters for promotional use. If you do not wish to be featured, please inform us in advance.
• Guests are welcome to take and share content and tag us @livelovelake.ca for a chance to win one of our monthly appreciation giveaways!
